Time to apply: a second stage of the project “Become a new civil servant of Mariupol” has started

A next stage of the project “Become a new civil servant ofMariupol” has started. It expandsopportunities for those who wish to take part in the program. Employees of allstructural subdivisions of the municipality will be able to develop theirprofessional competencies as well as those who want to work in local governmentbodies.
The program is aimed at assessingthe existing and necessary competencies of the municipality's employees andcontributes to attracting and motivating high-level professionals to build acareer in local government and successfully implement key reforms to improvethe quality of life of citizens.
Modern professional tools will be usedto determine competencies of the employees. The results of the assessment willform the basis for the development of new training programs for the employeesof Mariupol City Council.

· current employees of themunicipality who plan their further career development in the local governmentbodies or want to develop their competencies;
· Candidates for positions in thestructural units of the municipality, who are responsible for working withcitizens.
There are no requirements to theage or length of work of the applicants. The key factors of the selection aremotivation and justification of the participation in the program.
Selected participants will receivea letter of confirmation from the organizers with all the details not less than2 working days before the start of the program - on March 14th.
The initiative “Become a new civilservant of Mariupol” is implemented by NGO Mariupol development fund” inpartnership with Mariupol City Council within the framework of the project"Ukraine Confidence Building Initiative" (UCBI II) with the financialsupport of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
