In order to support condominiums of residents of multi-apartment houses (OSMD) NGO Mariupol Development Fund took a decision to conduct a competition of mini-projects entitled "Comfortable yard". Condominiums created this year apply for participation. At the present moment there are 39 such households in Mariupol, but their amount is constantly growing.

"Comfortable yard" is a unique project and it reveals great opportunities for the newly registered condominiums (OSMD) to create comfortable conditions for recreation and landscaping their yards in compliance with exclusive projects that are specifically developed for the competition by NGO MDF architects team.

Five optional styles were designed including European, Mediterranean, Oriental, Country (Ukrainian) and Urban. According to each option there is its own variation of benches, pavilions, landscaping, etc. At the same time none of the projects is typical.

"Each yard has individual design. We have conducted a survey among residents and together with them have determined:

-How many benches do they want?

-Do they want a pavilion or a playground?

-What other elements do they want to accomplish their yards?

Taking into account all the wishes we design projects of modern and cozy yards which undoubtedly will become an architectural landmark of Mariupol city", - said the executive director of NGO MDF Tatiana Lomakina.

It is expected that this year as a result of the contest "Comfortable yard" in Mariupol about 100 condominiums (OSMD) will get their curtilages landscaped.
