The Code of safe educational environment for children, teachers and parents is developed

Many yearsInternational Organization UNICEF popularizes ideas of ensuringrights, freedoms and interests of children represented in the concept of theprogramme “Child Friendly School”.
To help all whowork in the field of prevention of violence against children, a methodologicalguide "The Code of Safe Educational Environment" (CSEE) has beendesigned. This document regulates theactivities of educational institutions related to violations of personalsecurity rights and issues of intervention in situations that arise in theevent of a threat to life, health and well-being.
The documentcontains information about examples of foreign colleagues, which will helpteachers, parents, psychologists and school administrations to determine thecomponents and develop a safe educational environment for children.
CSEE also provides the trainings for schoolchildren, parents, teachers, and employeesof educational institutions of the rules of safe behavior, the formation ofskills to avoid potential risks and dangers, as well as skills to overcomedifficulties in life.
The manual wasdeveloped as part of the project “Prevention of Sexual Violence and SexualExploitation of Children in Central and Eastern Europe - an IntegratedApproach”, implemented by the Ukrainian Foundation “Child Welfare” inpartnership with the Foundation “We Give Children the Power” (Poland) withfinancial support from OAK Foundation (Switzerland).
