Last weekend trainings of active groups for condominium establishment completed in the Mariupol Development Fund. The group of 15 people was trained, who decided to create condominiums and to manage their own housing.

The participants of the training got acquainted with the Ukrainian legislation that regulates the establishment and activities of condominiums, as well as on the theory and practice, they worked out in detail the mechanism of condominium establishing and discussed the possible difficulties that home owners may face during the transition stage.

Just for six weeks, a team of 20 trainers has conducted 26 trainings on establishment of condominiums that were visited by 400 representatives of local citizens.

At the end of the training courses, 20 initiative groups have already made some necessary registration procedures and created a condominium.

Since the beginning of the year, 21 condominiums have been created in Mariupol. For comparison, there was only one condominium in Mariupol in 2015. Today, 92 condominiums exist in Mariupol. Some more initiative groups collected the necessary documents and applied for registration.

We remind that trainings of active groups for establishment of condominiums started on April 18th in Mariupol with the initiative of the City Municipality, the Mariupol Development Fund and the Department of Housing and Municipal Infrastructure.
