Mariupol activists write projects to empower people with disabilities

05.10.2017

The Regional Center for Training and Development held another training "Development of project proposals" at the request of the representatives of the community. Sixteen active citizens attended it. There were people with disabilities, representatives of interests of people with disabilities, as well as active residents of the city.

Most of the participants came to this training course with ready-made ideas or social initiatives. These people are very concerned about the lack of access to sports, public spaces for people with disabilities as well as legal literacy, among pensioners and vulnerable groups.

During the training, the participants have found not only like-minded people, but also implemented new projects ideas. The teams have worked through all the main sections of a typical application form and now they are searching for suitable calls for proposals. The Fund's specialists always stay in touch and are ready to provide the necessary consulting assistance.

It is the third training, which NGO MDF team arranges for public organizations and active citizens in Mariupol. It is important for us that as many active citizens as possible will have an opportunity to take part in the development of Mariupol.
