Mariupol Development Fund and Mariupol City Council Signed Memorandum of Cooperation

Mariupol Development Fund and Mariupol City Council signed Memorandum of cooperation. City Mayor Vadim Boychenko and the general director of Mariupol Development Fund Gennady Semenikhin signed the document. The parties are convinced that joint efforts, reasonable policy and concerned actions will open new possibilities for the development of economy, business, attract  investments and create conditions for citizens’ welfare.

The first joint project of municipality and Mariupol Development Fund was an opening of the «Centre for Assistance». Consultants of the Centre for Assistance and representatives of the Department of Housing and Utilities infrastructure conduct trainings together, teach people and consult how to move from one form of housing management into another one correctly and safely or how to create a condominium.

“Strategy 2021” is a key project, a creating of a 5-year plan of Mariupol development, upon which the city government works together with Mariupol Development Fund. An implementation of the investment chart is a basis of the Strategy that represents a peculiar invitation for business, partners that are ready to take part in perspective projects of the city. Mariupol is designated to sustainable economic development, improvement of infrastructure and quality of life.

“Today the authority must think about the future of the city. They must see further than their nose. To lives for the moment may be beneficial for an officer, but not for Mariupol citizens. We will create three perspective clusters for urban territories and provide all necessary infrastructure – roads, water, sewerage, telecommunications, electricity simultaneously inviting investors», - as the Mayor of the city Vadim Boychenko admitted.

According to Mayor, the Fund and citizens will realize together social and economic policy in the city, directed at creation of comfort conditions for work and living. «Mariupol Development Fund is not just an assistant of city authorities; it is the most active business “interjection” in our city. The Fund unites more than 150 companies and organizations of the city. I’m sure that a synergy we put in the Memorandum will provide productive results in the nearest future », - the general director of the MDF Gennady Semenikhin emphasized.
